Montoursville held Warrior Run to single digits all four quarters en route to a 39-21 win against the Defenders. After leading just 7-4 after the first quarter, Montoursville pulled away by scoring 13 in the second and 10 in the third.

Kayleigh Sheleman scored 15 points to lead the Warriors while Emma George added 12. Warrior Run was led by Alice Hollenbach’s 11 points.

Lewisburg earned a 40-37 win against Danville on the road in a close game to win its first game of the season in its opener. Addy Shedleski had seven points to go with a team-high 11 rebounds and three steals while Lauren Schwartz scored four points while also having five steals, five assists and five rebounds.

The Green Dragons were led by India Walker and Ava Motto who both scored nine and Kennedy North’s eight.

Jersey Shore’s offense wasn’t able to put up points against a tough Crestwood team as Crestwood earned a 79-17 win against the Bulldogs. Jackie Gallagher and Kiera Dougherty each scored 23 apiece for Crestwood while Charlie Hiller added 14.

The Bulldogs were led by Marlee Lehman and Kylie Schall, who both scored four.
