Jersey Shore competed in a tri-meet against Shamokin and Mifflinburg on Thursday in swimig competition and the Bulldogs had swimmers see success in both girls and boys competition.

Team scores were not available for the tri-meet.

Jersey Shore’s Addison Miller, a senior, won the 200 IM in 3:28.63 and Lila Nestlerode swam a time of 31.11 to win the 50 free for the Bulldogs. The senior won by more than a second over Shamokin’s Carly Seedor.

Jersey Shore saw senior Macy Wilton win the 100 fly in 1:20.49.

Jersey Shore’s Emily Shemory won the 100 free with a time of 1:07.08. The freshman had a solid swim as she won by 12 seconds over teammate Rhian Prowell (1:19.95). Shemory was also a second-place finisher in the 200 free in 2:34.68, trailing only Mifflinburg’s Natalie Gemberling (2:28.50).

Brooke Charney, a junior, won the 100 breast with a time of 1:31.40 and teammate Rhian Prowell was second in 1:37.00. Charney also took second in the 400 free in 5:37.69 and teammate Sierra Derr, a senior, was third in 5:45.18. Mifflinburg’s Natalie Gemberling won in 5:27.24.

The Bulldogs’ Nathan Klugh was a fourth-place finisher in the 50 free in 31.40 and took fourth in the 100 free with a time of 1:12.92. Jersey Shore’s Nathan Grant took home second in the 100 back with a time of 1:26.68 as he was behind only Malachi Moyer of Mifflinburg’s 1:11.22.
