The 4×4 Clover Cup brought a full weekend of soccer to Memorial Stadium at Montoursville High School as 51 U9 through U16 teams gathered for a competitive tournament that also supported a meaningful cause in the local community.

Nearly everty local program in the region was represented, joined by traveling teams from Mifflin County, State College, Elmira (N.Y.) and Scranton, creating a strong mix of local rivalries and new competition ahead of the spring season.

Champions were crowned across multiple divisions. Title-winning teams included FC Central Penn (U9 and U10 girls), Williamsport City Lions (U11 girls), Hughesville Wildcats (U12 girls), Balls Mills Soccer Club (U13 girls), Goal Diggers (U16 girls), Northeast United (U10 boys), Celtic SC (U11 boys), Team Elite (U14 boys) and CSSC Rage (U15 boys).

The tournament helped raise funds for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of NEPA which serves Lycoming County with 100% of the event apparel proceeds donated directly to the organization, along with a portion of concession sales from the weekend. In total, the event raised $1,868.46 to support mentoring programs for local youth.

“We’re proud of the community we are building here through our United Goals USA soccer tournaments,” said Colin Gorini, founder of United Goals USA. “It’s a great pleasure to serve our soccer coaches, parents, players and fans, and to use soccer as a way to give back and do good for the community that supports it.”
