Area firefighters were busy Thursday morning handling three crashes in an hour, including this one on Route 220, just north of Pine Run Road, in Woodward Township, where a woman lost control of her southbound car that hydroplaned and overturned at least twice, landing in the median about 8:50., according to what a witness told firefighters. The driver declined treatment, fire officials said.

Just minutes before this crash, a car and tractor-trailer truck clipped one another in the southbound lanes of Route 15, about two miles north of Trout Run, in Lewis Township The woman driving the car was taken by ambulance to UPMC Williamsport to get treated for minor injuries.

In another crash, there were no injuries and damage was minor when a school bus and another vehicle collided at Washington Boulevard and Penn Street just before 8 a.m., according to emergency responders.
