The Lycoming County Commissioners issued the following news release today:

“As of Sunday January 25, 2026, due to the severe weather conditions, the County of Lycoming Commissioners Scott Metzger, Marc Sortman, and Mark Mussina have determined for the safety of our staff and the public, County of Lycoming Administration Offices will be closed until 12:00 pm on Monday, January 26, 2026.

This should allow all local public roadways to have a chance to be plowed and safer for travel.

All 24/7 operations will operate as normal to ensure continuity of emergency services for the public.

Updates will also be posted on the County of Lycoming website Lyco.org”
