Andre Gaskins, 52, of La Plata, Maryland, has been charged with submitting false information on a government form in an attempt to purchase a firearm at Sauers Trading, 1100 W. Southern Ave. in South Williamsport on Nov. 22, 2023, according to borough police. In addition to the one felony count, Gaskins has been charged with making unsworn falsification to authorities, a misdemeanor. Gaskins recently waived his preliminary hearing before Whiteman and is now free on $10,000 bail.
