STEP RiverWalk Center hosts sea glass workshop

Mike and Deb Cillo, owners of DKC Creations LLC in Montoursville, recently instructed participants at STEP’s RiverWalk Center on how to create jewelry out of natural sea glass. A large selection of colorful sea glass was available for the senior participants to create their own jewelry. Zumba Gold at Clinton County Community Center

LOCK HAVEN — The Clinton County Community Center, 124 E. Walnut St., will hold a Zumba Gold Zumba-Palooza from 12:30-3 p.m. Oct. 27. Registration will be from 12:30-12:50 p.m.; general announcements from 12:50-1 p.m.; Zumba with certified Zumba Gold instructors, Erin, Jess and Tara from 1-2:55 p.m.; and closing remarks from 2:55-3 p.m. Participants from all centers are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be provided and participants are invited to have lunch at the CCCC before Zumba begins. There is no fee to participate, but donations will be accepted.

The Meadows schedules senior seminar series

The Meadows, A Park Home Personal Care Community, 2160 Warrensville Road, Montoursville, will host a senior seminar series. The seminars will be geared toward the senior population and those that care for them. Depending on the topic, the seminar format may include lecture, question and answer time, screenings and risk assessments.
