Mr. and Mrs. Harry McClain, of Cogan Station, observed their 65th wedding anniversary Dec. 2, 2013.

They were married in Hagerstown, Md.

They are both members of Balls Mills United Methodist Church.

Mrs. McClain, the former Margaret Gephart, is the daughter of the late Margaret and Lloyd Gephart. She retired from the nutrition services department at Divine Providence Hospital.

Mr. McClain, a native of Indian Head, is the son of Eliza Elizabeth and George Harvey, of Indian Head, was employed by Plankenhorn’s as a printer and retired from Textron Lycoming.

They are the parents of three daughters, Susan Corson and Virginia Boyles, both of Cogan Station, and Marie Fisher, of Williamsport, and two sons, Scott, of Cogan Station, and the late Stephen McClain.

There are 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
