Thirteen motorists have been charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants or controlled substances, according to court records. Those charged and the police departments involved were:

• Zane Carl Romano, 23, of 404 N. Shafer Hill Road, Cogan Station; Old Lycoming Township police following a crash in the 2000 block of Route 973 East in Hepburn Township on Oct. 29.

• Andrew Cade Engle, 21, of 2135 Wheatland Ave.; Old Lycoming Township police following a crash in the 1500 block of Frederick Avenue on Oct. 26; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Terry Lee Andrews, 69, of 111 Horseshoe Lane, Cogan Station; Old Lycoming Township police following a crash on Koch Horn Lane in Lycoming Township on Oct. 16; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Linwood Robert Knight, 39, of 147 James Road, Montgomery; state police following a crash on Route 15 in Lewis Township on Oct. 7; also charged with careless driving.

• Helen K. Marchese 73, of 1300 Colonial Court, Montoursville; state police in the 900 block of Shiffler Avenue on Oct. 1; also charged with careless driving.]

• Sherry Marie Morley, 35, of Blossburg; Old Lycoming Township police on Foy Avenue and the Route 15 overpass on Sept. 17; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Grant Elliot Wright, 42, of 831 Funston Ave.; state police at Northway Road and Sheridan Street in Loyalsock Township on Sept. 2; also charged with driving with a suspended license and careless driving.

• Connie Jean Houseweart33, of Canton; state police at East Third Street and Northway Road on Sept. 2; also charged with careless driving.

• John H. Hunter IV, 28, of Harrisburg; state police at East Third Street and Country Club Drive on Aug. 27.

• Jamin Edward Landis, 23, of Port Treverton; state police at East Third Street and Country Club Drive on Aug. 27; also charged with careless driving.

• Sandra Davis, 36, of Ulster; Old Lycoming Township police following a crash at Route 15 and Beautys Run Road on Aug. 26; also charged with careless driving and driving with a suspended license.

• Stephen M. Merrifield, 47, of 60 N. Main St., Montgomery; state police on Route 15 in South Williamsport on Aug. 20; also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and careless driving.

• Debra Wright, 49, of 600 Central Ave., South Williamsport; South Williamsport police following a crash at Riverside Drive and Maynard Street on July 29; also charged with accidents involving damage to attended vehicle (hit-run) and careless driving.
