Couple observes 65th anniversary

Dick and Della Mae Carothers, of Williamsport, celebrated 65 years of marriage on June 28. The two got married in Salladasburg and it was officiated by Rev. Mays. The two are members of St. John’s-newberry United Methodist Church in Williamsport. Della Mae (Hillyard) Carothers was born in Jersey Shore, the daughter of the late Harold and Edith Hillyard.
