Couple celebrates 50th

Leonard J. and Roberta J., Specht, of Montgomery, observed their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 15. They were married in the First United Methodist Church, Montgomery, by Rev. Kenneth Arthur. The former Roberta Pentz is the daughter of the late Eugene and Roberta Pentz. She graduated from Montgomery Area High School in 1962, Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Science in education and a master’s degree from Rider College. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wasaff are celebrating 45 years of marriage on Sunday. They were married by Rev. Carl Peterson at Calvary Methodist Church. Mrs. Wasaff, the former Patricia Winder, is a native of Williamsport and the daughter of the late Helen Lanning and Robert Winder. She attended Williamsport schools and is a homemaker.
