Montoursville couple celebrates 40th anniversary

Rev. James and Janice Sunderland, of Montoursville, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on June 28. They were married in 1980 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Montoursville by Rev. Walter Schell and the late Rev. Bruce Bardine. The former Janice Reeder, of Montoursville, is the daughter of the late Dave and Gladys Reeder. She graduated from Montoursville High School in 1976. Montoursville couple celebrate 25 years

Eric and Krista Wise, of Montoursville, celebrated 25 years of marriage on July 8. They were wed by Revs. Brand Eaton and Gerald Krum at First United Methodist Church, Williamsport, while surrounded by friends and family. The two began their love story at Lock Haven University when Krista bought a pretzel from Eric’s Chemistry Club stand. Krista is a learning support teacher at Montoursville Area High School, and Eric is a qualified supervisor of Raw Materials at Merck and Co. They have two daughters, Mackenzie and Zoe.

Couple observes 65th summer anniversary

Donald W. and Esther L. (Chestnut) Karschner celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 24, 2020. Donald is a retired self-employed carpenter and Esther is retired from Primus Technologies. They enjoy traveling, gardening, bike riding and camping. They are the parents of two daughters, Jill Shafer, of Harrisburg, and Joy Packard, of Jersey Shore; and one granddaughter.

Nisbet couple honors 50th anniversary

Robert and Susan Breen Suehr, of Nisbet, celebrated their 50th anniversary on June 27. They were married in 1970 at the St. Boniface Catholic Church. Susan graduated from South Williamsport Area High School and Mansfield University. She is a retired teacher. Robert graduated from the Crafton High School in Pittsburgh and Lock Haven University. He is a retired teacher. They are the parents of one son and they have one grandchild.

Fred and Jeannie Curchoe will celebrate their 40th anniversary on July 5, 2020, they were married by Father Fox in 1980 They are members of St. Joseph the Worker Paris in Williamsport. Jeannie is the daughter of the late Donald and Erma Long. She graduated from South Williamsport High School and is employed by ECM Energy. Fred is the son of the late Lawrence and Kathryn Curchoe and graduated from Williamsport High School. Fred is semi-retired and works part-time for Walmart. Arnot couple observes 65th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Kirkendall, of Arnot, observed their 65th anniversary on June 25, 2020. They were married by the late Rev. Clyde Truax in Elmira Heights, N.Y. They are longtime members of Arnot Presbyterian Church, now the Arnot Community Church. The former Lois Bellinger, of Blossburg, is the daughter of the late Harold and Marian Ogden Bellinger.
