Township, foundation give $4,000 grant to Barbours Cemetery

The Plunkett’s Creek Township Foundation Fund at the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania has awarded a $ 4,000 grant to the Barbours Cemetery Association for the 2025-2026 year, the association announced in a news release. They plan to update the index board to provide visitors with easier identification of those interred here. With the ever-increasing costs associated with maintenance and mowing, without these grant funds received over the past ten years, they would not be able to sustain their viability, the news release added.
