Authority gives more than $24,000 to charities
McELHATTAN — Over $24,000 in charity money will be donated to several county-wide nonprofits by the Clinton County Solid Waste Authority. A total of $24,654 will be donated, which was raised from the 22nd Annual John B. Hoy, Jr., Charity Golf Tournament. The tournament was held on Sept. 29. The money was spread out to the Clinton County Historical Society, Good Neighbor Center of the Renovo Council of Churches and the Covenant Cafe.
