Williamsport Symphony Orchestra presents “Video Games” in concert

The Williamsport Symphony Orchestra will present video game music live in concert with Video Games in concert, on March 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Journey Bank Community Arts Center, according to a news release.

Conducted by Maestro Ben Firer, this family-friendly program brings some of the most iconic video game soundtracks to life, including music from Halo, Skyrim, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania, World of Warcraft, Uncharted, Tomb Raider, God of War, Phoenix Wright, The Last of Us, Undertale, and more. These sweeping scores–originally composed to heighten senses of adventure, heroism, and storytelling–shine in full symphonic color when performed by a live orchestra, the news release added.

Lycoming College Choir, under the direction of chorus masters Patrick Chui and Adin Hinojosa, will be joining the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra.

The evening will also feature 2026 Young Artists Competition winner William Ciabattari, who will perform the Sibelius Violin Concerto with the Orchestra.

Designed with families and young audiences in mind, Video Games in Concert will be a “perfect introduction to orchestral music while celebrating the games and stories many already love,” according to the news release.
