Schedule set for playhouse

After COVID-19 forced the historic barn playhouse to go dark last summer, Millbrook is coming back this summer for its 58th season. Community Arts Center to get grant

The Community Arts Center has been awarded a $2,500 grant from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. According to a news release, the funds will be used to underwrite the Student Summer Stock production of SpongeBob the Musical. The Williamsport Music Club has chosen violinist Michael Fisher, son of Kristin and Don Fisher as winner of the $1500 Budd Memorial Scholarship. A panel of three judges who listened to the auditions were Dr. Christopher Para, Dr. David Lassiter and Dr. Kenneth Sarch. Michael is a senior at Williamsport High School and has played violin since he was four years old.
