Additional charges filed in 2024 Lewis Township road-rage case

Already awaiting to go on trial for 40 misdemeanor or summary offenses stemming from a road-rage incident on Route 14 in Lewis Township that took place last year on Jan. 10, Kenneth George Harvey, 76, of Roaring Branch, faces new charges that were amended to the original criminal complaint, according to state police. It is alleged that Harvey intentionally rammed two motorists while driving a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck, police said. There were no serious injuries, police said. While Harvey waived his preliminary hearing on all the original charges, he took a hearing on two counts each of stalking and attempted aggravated assault. The four new charges were added in March after additional evidence was discovered. After hearing testimony at the recent hearing, District Judge William Solomon ruled there was sufficient evidence to hold Harvey on the offenses. Harvey remains free on bail.
