Lycoming County Prison inmate Amber Halderman, already locked up on felony shoplifting-related offenses, faces another shoplifting charge, this one filed by Lycoming Regional police following an incident on the morning of Oct. 13, 2024, when she was discovered to be “huffing a can of dust-off cleaner in the 2100 block of Lycoming Creek Road while lying on the sidewalk in the rain,” according to an affidavit.

Halderman, 40, of 2295 Lycoming Creek Road, had with her $33 worth of items she allegedly stole from General Dollar General, about a block away, earlier in the day, police said. She waived her preliminary hearing Wednesday before Solomon and remains jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail.
