Two injured in Old Lycoming crash

HOLMES/Sun-Gazette The driver of this Nissan Frontier, Joseph Tedesco, 70, of South Williamsport, told Lycoming Regional police he had to swerve in order to get out of the way of an oncoming truck that was in his lane in the 300 block of Grimesville Road in Old Lycoming Township about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. He crashed into the side of a utility pole as the approaching vehicle continued on, police said. Tedesco and a passenger in the vehicle, his sister, Susan Tedesco, 63, a resident of the township, were treated at UPMC Williamsport for injuries they suffered in the crash, police said.
