Five face drug-related charges in Lycoming County

Five people have been charged with drug offenses, according to court records recently made public. Those charged were:
• Marissa Dauberman, 31, of 353 W. Third St.; the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU); one felony county each of delivery of methamphetamine and illegal use of a cellphone following her alleged involvement in a controlled buy of the controlled substance to an informant in her apartment building on Sept. 23; initially jailed, she has since been released on $35,000 bail after she waived her preliminary hearing this week.
• Adam Joseph Doebler, 36, of 242 E. Church St., apartment 1; the county’s NEU; two felony counts each of delivery of cocaine and illegal use of a cellphone plus one felony count of possession with intent to deliver cocaine following his alleged involvement in two sales of the controlled substance to an informant in the city; one on in the area of Franklin and Hughes streets on Aug. 13 and another in the 800 block of Washington Boulevard on Aug. 27; Doebler was soon taken into custody and had on him allegedly four grams of cocaine; he remains jailed in the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
• Layne Allen Wonica, 71, of Elizabethville, Dauphin County; state police; possession of methamphetamine and marijuana as well as paraphernalia in the 800 block of Route 15 in Armstrong Township on Aug. 10; a bench warrant for his arrest was expected to be filed after he failed to appear for his preliminary hearing.
• Erica Valean Stein, 39, of 74 Bower Lane, Hughesville; Muncy police; possession of a controlled substance (two broken unidentified pills) and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of West Water Street on Aug. 2; released on $5,000 bail after waiving his preliminary hearing.
• Joseph Baskin, 42, of 148 School House Road, Cogan Station; Lycoming Regional police; possession of crystal meth that was found in his bedroom while county probation officers were there on June 24; jailed on probation violation and in lieu of $10,000 bail.
