Harley Olicia Grace Cutshall Gates, 22, currently incarcerated at SCI-Muncy, has been charged with simple assault after she allegedly kicked a correctional officer, causing her to bump into a cell door behind her, state police said in an affidavit.

The officer was later diagnosed with liver damage as a result of the attack, which was captured on surveillance video, according to court documents.

Cutshall Gates was arraigned by District Judge Kirsten Gardner and jailed on $23,000 bail.
