Homeless man jailed on felony charges after allegedly stealing copper
Thomas Samuel Gonzalez, 59, who is homeless, has been jailed on felony charges of burglary, theft, trespassing and criminal mischief for allegedly stealing an estimated $5,000 worth of copper wire and pipe from an office building at 2925 W. Fourth St. during the first two weeks of October, city police said. Nabbed inside the building on Oct. 17, Gonzalez was arraigned before
Gardner and jailed in lieu of $35,000 bail. He has since waived his preliminary hearing.
