Seventeen people charged with various drug offenses

Seventeen people have been charged with various drug offenses in separate cases, according to court records recently made public. Those charged were:

Robert Lane Hamilton, 35, of 1146 W. Fourth St.; the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU); three felony counts of delivery of crack cocaine as well as one count each of possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine and tampering with evidence following his alleged involvement in three drugs sales at his apartment to an informant between Sept. 25 and Oct. 20; when detectives executed a search warrant at his home on Oct. 21, Hamilton tossed a bag containing five grams of crack cocaine out a window; the bag was recovered; jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Dunkin Latz, 30, of 321 Rural Ave.; the county’s NEU; delivery of crack cocaine and illegal use of a cellphone for his alleged involvement in a drug sale in the 1100 block of West Fourth Street in the city on Oct. 8; jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Richard Cozzi, 63, of 622 Allegheny St., apartment 1, Jersey Shore; the county’s District Attorney’s Office; delivery of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver 10 grams of methamphetamine (found in his apartment) and illegal use of cellphone for his alleged involvement in a sale of the the controlled substance at his apartment to an informant on Oct. 7; released on $20,000 bail.

Kasha Bassett, 30, of 1146 W. Fourth St.; the county’s NEU; delivery of crack cocaine and illegal use of cellphone for her alleged involvement in a drug sale in the 1100 block of West Fourth Street on Oct. 6; initially jailed, but now out on $25,000 bail.

April May Slack, 38, of 365 Woodland Ave.; the county’s NEU; delivery of methamphetamine and illegal use of cellphone for her alleged involvement in selling the controlled substance to an informant in the 300 block of Memorial Avenue in the city on Oct. 2; released on $50,000 bail.

William Gonzales, 53, of 2815 Old Montoursville Road; Lycoming County District Attorney’s Office; delivery of methamphetamine, illegal use of a communication device and possession of drug paraphernalia following a drug sale in his motel room involving an informant on Sept. 23; jailed in lieu of $35,000 bail.

Devin Tyler Sunderland, 36, of 637 Grier St,; state police; delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of a cellphone for allegedly selling 3.4 grams of cocaine to an informant on Plaza Drive in Montoursville on Sept. 22; released on $10,000 bail.

Jeffrey Kolletzki, 31, of 698 Highland Lake Road, Hughesville; state police; possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on East Water Street in Hughesville on Aug. 28; released on $5,000 bail.

Jesse Mayeresky, 43, of 59 Pumpkin Center Road, Montgomery; state police; possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Montgomery Pike in South Williamsport on Aug. 24; released on $5,000 bail.

Heath Allen Killinger, 49, of 642 Cherry St.; the county’s NEU; delivery of methamphetamine, attempted possession with intent to deliver methamphetamines and illegal use of a cellphone following a sale of the controlled substance in the 200 block of West Fourth Street in the city on Aug. 20 and an attempted sale of the same drug at Second and Walnut streets also in the city on Sept. 5, but the sale fell through; jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.

James Lewis Updegraff, 64, of 6271 Route 973 East, Cogan Station; the county’s NEU; possession with intent to deliver !00 pills of ecstasy and 134 grams of methamphetamines, possession of 3.5 grams of cocaine; all seized at his home after Updegraff gave his consent to detectives to search the property on Aug. 5; released on $15,000 bail.

Convicted drug dealer Brandon Hinkal, 47, formerly of Mill Street in Trout Run but now homeless; Lycoming County District Attorney’s Office; three felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance for his alleged involvement in the three sales of methamphetamine between July 21 and July 24; two of the sales took place in Trout Run while a third occurred near Grier Street and Audrey Place in the city; jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Rashad Payne, 48, 650 Ames Place; state police; delivery of methamphetamines and illegal use of a communication device following his alleged involvement in drug sale on Ames Place on July 15; released on $25,000 bail.

Raeshondria Alexander, 38, of 632 Campbell St.; the county’s NEU; delivery of cocaine and illegal use of a cellphone for her alleged involvement in a sale to an informant at First Avenue and High Street in the city on June 11; released on $35,000 bail.

Brandt Edwin Cipriani, 42, of 739 W. Third St., apartment 3; city police; possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia on East Canal Street on June 5; released on $5,000 bail; he pled guilty to a possession of a controlled substance charge filed by the county’s NEU two years ago.

Jennifer Cochran, 48, of 331 Campbell St.; the county’s NEU; delivery of crack cocaine following an alleged sale at her apartment involving an informant on March 26; released on $15,000 bail.

Demitrius Robinson, 31, of Philadelphia; state police; possession of marijuana on Market Street in the city on Feb. 2; released on $2,500 bail.
