Montgomery man charged after allegedly sending threatening texts to woman
In a text message to a woman last month, Jeremy Wayne Winder told her “I will come to your house this weekend if I have to, and you will be a vegetable the rest of your life so my kids better call me today,” according to an affidavit filed by Muncy police.
Winder, 35, of 62 Ikes Drive, Mongomery, has been charged with terroristic threats and two
counts of harassment for “sending threatening text messages” to the woman, Muncy police
alleged.
The text messages were sent while Winder was arguing over custody and communication issues concerning the couple’s children, police said.
Following a recent preliminary hearing before District Judge Kirsten Gardner, Winder was held for court on all three charges and remains free on $15,000 bail.
