Bail was denied last week for Daniel Eugene Ade, of 353 W. Third St., who was arrested on 200 felony counts of sexual abuse of children for possessing videos or photos of child pornography that were found on his two cellphones and a tablet, city police alleged in an affidavit. These charges are the latest to be filed against the 57-year-old man, who was initially arrested and jailed on Nov. 10 on a series of offenses for allegedly soliciting sexual favors online from a person posing as a female minor, police alleged. The porography charges were the result of investigators seizing the digital equipment from Ade’s apartment and discovering child sexual abuse material on them after obtaining a warrant to search the devices, police said. Following his arraignment before District Judge Christian Frey, Ade was placed in the county prison.
