Loyalsock limits use of e-scooters, e-bikes in township

Loyalsock Township supervisors recently acted to limit the use of e-bikes and e-scooters in the municipality. “To improve safety, the Loyalsock Township Board of Supervisors amended Chapter 150-1 of the code which lists acts that are prohibited on public parks and recreation areas owned by the Loyalsock Township Board of Supervisors,” a news release from the township says. “Action was taken at the Township meeting on July 14, 2026, to approve Ordinance No. 2026-403 which prohibits the use of e-bikes and e-scooters in all Loyalsock Township parks.” Mobility aids like motorized ...
