Valley Apparel

“A 15-year dream come true,” is how Kelli Winder described the Valley Apparel, a quality used clothing store located at 218 S. Market St., South Williamsport, just off the Market Street Bridge.

Although Valley Apparel officially opened their doors for business March 9, they are planning a grand opening celebration in May.

The store is co-owned by Terry Robleski, Kelli Winder and Tessa Harris, a mother and daughters trio dedicated to providing the community with a place to shop, emphasizing excellent customer service and creating a relaxed atmosphere, said Winder.

Walking in the door, customers are greeted by full racks and circular displays of fashion-forward women’s and men’s clothes, shelves of lightly used – if not new – shoes, handbags, belts, ties; accessories like phone cases, watches, earrings creatively displayed in upcycled playing cards and necklaces, all at reasonable prices.

“We had a vision of what the store would look like, which has exceeded our expectations,” said Winder, attributing their success and full inventory to the positive response Valley Apparel received in their short time being open.

Valley Apparel not only sells but purchases items from people in the community. “We purchase gently used, fashion-forward, clean clothing, shoes and accessories,” said Winder, which creates a shop-local cycle that benefits the community. Shopping at and selling to Valley Apparel, customers can be glad their purchase is of quality and that their own beloved items can have a second life with someone else in the community.

“We really believe in being thrifty and thought this area really needed a store like this where people in the area can clean out their own closets and find some new great looks for a really great price,” said Winder.
