The law firm of Rieders, Travis, Dohrmann, Mowrey, Humphrey & Waters recently announced it was only one of two law firms in Lycoming County receiving recognition for the pro bono work which it performs in the county.

“This means that 100% of the lawyers in the firm have participated in the program,” a news release said. “The Lycoming Law Association’s Fair Share Award has been awarded to the firm for 2025, and in every year since the program was initiated.”

According to the news release, the award is: “In recognition of commitment to equal justice for the poor by fair share participation in the Lycoming Law Association and North Penn Legal Services Pro Bono Referral Program.”

Pro bono participation is for specific referral of cases from North Penn Legal Services, most typically Protection From Abuse Act matters.
