Halloween Spectacular fills Community Arts Center with family-friendly music

Join Lycoming College Community Orchestra at the beautiful Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport for an evening of trick-or-treating and musical fun for the whole family! The College’s Halloween Spectacular is slated for Saturday, Oct. 28, and is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume in a celebration of the beloved holiday. CU-Lock Haven Chemistry Club to host Halloween demonstration

LOCK HAVEN — The Commonwealth University-Lock Haven Chemistry Club will host a Halloween demonstration show from 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27 in the Lock Haven East Campus Science Center, third floor room 334. Doors will open at 6 p.m. The event, which is a demonstration show, is free, open to the public and will include candy. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Penn College announces spring semester EMT course offered at three locations

An Emergency Medical Technician course, beginning the week of Jan. 8 and running through early May, will be offered at three locations by Workforce Development at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Penn College to provide free oral health care to kids

On Saturday, Nov. 4, Pennsylvania College of Technology will provide free dental care to children and teens age 7 to 18. From 9 a.m. to noon in the college’s Dental Hygiene Clinic, volunteer dentists and dental hygienists and Penn College students will provide free oral screenings, sealants and education during an activity dubbed “Sealant Saturday.” Appointments are required and can be made by calling 570-320-8007.
