We made it through the extreme heat and very cool temperatures of August and have arrived at Labor Day, which is the unofficial ending of summer. There are many folks that say summer is not over until the fall equinox, which occurs this year on Sept. 22. Mary Alice always says that summer isn’t over until she sees asters in bloom. HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners will meet on Friday at the Game Commission’s Harrisburg headquarters, 2001 Elmerton Ave. This meeting is one day only and will begin at 10 a.m. with public comments.
