Calvary Baptist congregation finds temporary home at Central Baptist
The investigation continues into the cause of the fire at Calvary Baptist Church in Williamsport.
Central Baptist Church, at the corner of Memorial and Seventh Avenues, has opened their doors to Calvary Baptist members according to Howard Woodruff, Calvary Baptist pastor.
“We will worship there for the foreseeable future. Our times of Sunday events will remain the same with Sunday school starting at 9:30 a.m. and church beginning at 10:40 a.m.,” Woodruff added.
The congregation will worship at Central Baptist Church until repairs can be made to the Fellowship Hall of Calvary Baptist. The sanctuary will be rebuilt as well, according to Woodruff.
