Muncy schools to receive $138,000 boost in state funding for general education

The Muncy School District will receive a $138,000 increase in state funding over last year’s allocation, it was announced at the July meeting. Business Administrator Andrew Seese reported to school directors that the money, approved as part of the recently passed state budget, will include additional funds for general education, basic education, and the Ready to Learn Grant.
