Muncy schools to receive $138,000 boost in state funding for general education

The Muncy School District will receive a $138,000 increase in state funding over last year’s allocation, it was announced at the July meeting. Vincent Baskerville, 17, of Dauphin County, will stand trial in relation to the shooting death of a 15-year-old male Halloween night, District Judge Aaron Biichle ruled following a preliminary hearing Wednesday afternoon. The charges he is being held on remain unclear, as all documents in the case are under seal.
