No changes to tax rates in East Lycoming schools’ budget
The East Lycoming School Board recently approved a $32 million proposed budget for 2026-27 that does not include a property tax increase. The proposed budget is in the amount of $32,087,205 and the district is planning to levy taxes at 16.65 mills, the same as the prior year, according to business manager Heather Burke. The district real estate transfer tax will remain at 1 % and earned income tax 1.2 %.
