Jaxyn L. Weed

Surrounded by his family and loved ones, Jaxyn L. Weed, 3, of Loyalsock Township, Williamsport, passed from his earthly life Saturday afternoon, July 19, 2025, during his loving care at The Gatehouse, Divine Providence Hospital, to new and eternal life, running into the arms of Jesus.

Born a true fighter against overwhelming congenital health issues, in Danville, on Dec. 16, 2021, Jaxyn proved others wrong.

During his hospitalization of 831 days, Jaxyn blessed the hearts of many with his huge personality as he was “the light in many times of darkness.”

Although unable to speak, he communicated his wants and needs to those who provided secure comfort, especially his mother and sister.

Jaxyn will be fondly remembered by his family and many new friends as a “happy little guy” who was most joyful when his favorite TV show, “Bluey” was on.

When he was able, Jaxyn enjoyed going to church and for walks with his mother and sister.

Jaxyn leaves behind his mother, Kimberly; his siblings, Tessa, Makayla, Ian, Harlow and others; his grandparents, Cheri and Dennis, Bruce and Cory; uncle, Everett; and aunt Tonnie; as well as many additional aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous doctors, nurses and hospital medical staff.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by a funeral service at noon at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda, PA.
