John Franklin Hauck, Jr
John Franklin Hauck, Jr. 92, of Williamsport, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025 at his home.
He was married to the former Kathryn L. (Shipton), who survives, and they have shared 30 years of marriage.
John was born on January 27, 1933 in Lewisburg and was the son of the late John F. and Anna (Matthews) Hauck, Sr. John had joined the US Navy and served during the Korean War. He had worked for PG Energy as a Master Serviceman for 30 years and retired in 1995. He was a member of the Montoursville American Legion and a Life time member of the Good Sam Camping Club where he was Wagon Master of the local Chapter. John enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his grandson.
In addition to his wife Kathryn, he is survived by three sons, John F. Hauck, II, James Hauck (Holly) of South Carolina and Christopher Crosley of Central Square, NY; one daughter, Teena Rood (Raymond) of Erie; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bobbie Hauck.
In keeping with his wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
