William L. Hall IV
William L. Hall IV, 71, of Montgomery, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, surrounded by family, at Geisinger Medical Center, Muncy.
Born December 21, 1953 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late William L. Hall III and Ruth Anne (Morehart) Hall Engle.
Bill was a 1971 graduate of Montgomery High School. He attended Bloomsburg University and the former WACC, now Penn College, studying business.
Earlier in life, Bill worked as a butcher at the former John’s Market in Montgomery. Bill had a career of over 40 years as an operator at Koppers, Montgomery, where he was a member of the Union and enjoyed being a steward.
He was a member of The Gap Fellowship, Williamsport.
Bill loved his God, reading daily devotions. He was an avid fan of the Las Vegas Raiders and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Locally, Bill was fond of the Williamsport Crosscutters and attending their games. He enjoyed music, with an affinity for classic rock. Most of all, Bill was dedicated to his family and enjoyed spending time drinking coffee and socializing with his siblings. He especially loved his grandchildren and enjoyed attending their musical performances and sporting events.
Surviving are four daughters, Sara (Adam) Stover, of Centre Hall, Katherine Hall and Emily Hall, both of Williamsport and Maria E. Cipriani, of Cogan Station; the love of his life, Aola Maria Orrico, of Cogan Station; six siblings, Peggy Treese, of Cromwell, CT, Susan Fenstermacher, of Hughesville, Haywood and Kim Hall, and Kathleen and Edward Hall, all of Montgomery, Ty and Erin Hall, of Lock Haven, and Charles and Carol Hall, of Montoursville; five grandchildren, Nevaeh “Fluffy” Williams, Nadir LaRue Hall, Owen William Stover, Alivia Stover and Elizabeth E. Abkarjan; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepfather, Paul S. Engle, and brother-in-law, Daniel Fenstermacher.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, December 20, 2025, at The Gap Fellowship, 312 Maynard St., Williamsport, where the funeral will be held at noon, with Pastor Gary Runtas, officiating.
