Has anyone noticed that Republicans are scrambling to shore up support for Republican candidates, even the local Republicans are writing in warning against voting for Democrats. We haven’t even voted yet for candidates and they are already stomping. Heck even one writer praised how good the economy is, seriously he did claim he knows some goods are still high but all in all the economy is great. Stolen election?

President Donald Trump has said he wants to take charge of elections throughout the United States. There is nothing in our Constitution, or any law passed in the 250 year history of our country, that permits him to do this. The last person who supposedly said “L’Etat c’est moi” (“The State is me”) was King Louis XIV of France in 1655. The Constitution specifically gives the power to regulate elections to the states. I read with interest an article in the Outdoor section of the Sun-Gazette regarding the introduction of a bill by a couple of local legislators to move the opening day of firearm deer season back to the traditional Monday after Thanksgiving. I whole heartedly support this and was disappointed in the PGC when it recently rejected the idea. The PGC has consistently touted the benefits of the recent move to a Saturday opener on many occasions during speaking engagements and written publications like the Pennsylvania Game News. Thank you, my neighbors

I want to take this opportunity to thank my neighbors, some far, some near, for helping me and my wife as our house burst into flames on January 27th. It happened so fast, that I am still dazed. At approximately 10:45 PM, I noticed some smoke on an outside security camera. I ran upstairs from the basement to see what was happening.
