If Christians understood our Constitution, I think the churches providing cover for illegal immigrants would be close to nonexistent. When my son was 7 in 1995, he loved basketball. I heard about the John Bower Sunday School Basketball League from a friend so we got him signed up on the St. Ann’s team. I remember the first game and when I walked in, I saw Bob Cellini who was a lead volunteer for the program. Billionaire Elon Musk is attempting to gain access to IRS computer systems holding the most sensitive personal information of U.S. taxpayers. His actions could lead to one of the largest and most damaging data breaches in American history. US AID

Two items appearing in the Sun-Gazette on February 19 are noteworthy. Kudos to the Sun-Gazette for juxtaposing these two pieces. First a letter to the Editor from a progressive in Lewisburg, decrying the cuts in USAID. This writer makes the argument that this is illegal and immoral, and will reduce US power and influence around the world. He creates sympathy in the reader by saying that people around the world depend on the lifesaving aid provided by USAID. Governor Josh Shapiro shows a lot of courage in standing up for Pennsylvania by taking the Trump administration to court for illegally blocking more than $2 billion in federal funding that has already been legally obligated to our state. This is real money for real projects that Pennsylvanians depend on. Congress, with bipartisan support, approved this funding to protect public health, lower energy costs, and create jobs in rural communities. Gerontology malpractice

Amongst the pardons that were surprisingly missing from the final minutes of Biden’s presidential life, there’s the non-pardon of the world famous gerontologist, Dr. Jill. Given the obvious malpractice she permitted and performed on the enfeebled elderly patient in her care, that’s surprising. And equally legally surprising is that non-pardon coming from Biden, an attorney, since it might be malpractice on Joe’s part.
