Golf tip of the week: The baseball grip may improve your game
PHOTO PROVIDED Utilizing the ten finger grip known as the baseball grip, may improve your game.
Maybe changing your grip will improve your game. There are three different grip styles to choose from: overlapping, interlocking and the baseball grip. The type grip you use is strictly up to you, however the size of your fingers, hands and hand strength could dictate which grip would best fit you.
For example, if you have short fingers, the overlapping grip may be best.
If you have long fingers, perhaps the interlocking grip would be best.
If you have arthritis or are losing strength in your hands, the baseball grip can increase power and flexibility to cock the wrist.
Cocking the wrist is one of the elements needed for clubhead speed and a higher trajectory.
Don’t forget to enjoy this great game called golf.
