Brittany Weidler took home female Bowler of the Week honors with a 739 series last week in the Thursday Night Bowling League, including a 257 game which tied Lorraine Smith’s best game in the Saturday Night Moonlighters League, for high female game of the week.

Jeremy Cline posted a 792 series in the Monday Night Classic League, to become male Bowler of the Week, beating out no less than eight other bowlers who topped 750, including Connor Anthony who rolled a 751 in the Harvest Moon Youth League.

Congratulations to Landon Heisley who posted the first 300 of his career in the Saturday Night Moonlighters. Also firing perfect games were Ron Tibbens and Scott Roberts in the Faxon Classic League, and Tim Day and Markus Budda in the Monday Night Classic. In that same league, Dave Rickard and Sean Monoski each tossed a 299.

THIS GUY LIKES TO BOWL

Local bowler Larry Cupp bowls in six leagues a week. Last year he bowled in eight leagues, although not all of them full time. He likes to takes Saturdays off. Cupp is currently averaging in the mid 160s, which is rather phenomenal for someone who will soon be 76 years old, walks with a cane and didn’t start bowling until the 2018-19 season.
