READING — Penn College handled Penn State Berks, 84-42, in a non-conference women’s basketball game on Tuesday on the road. The Wildcats improved to 7-1, while the Nittany Lions fell to 1-7.

Penn College jumped out to a 25-12 first quarter lead and a 47-22 advantage at the break. The Wildcats outscored Berks, 24-10, in the third and 13-10 in the fourth.

St. John Neumann graduate Gigi Parlante notched her third double-double this season with a game-high 29 points and a game-best 11 rebounds. Breana Valentine added 18 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while Kenni Galbreath finished with 12 points and Loyalsock graduate Mia Patterson contributed 10.

Penn College returns to action on Wednesday, Dec. 3 hosting Penn State Abington.
