Numerous area players garner HAC-I and HAC-II accolades in girls soccer

Plenty of area teams saw success by reaching the District 4 playoffs this year and many individuals had standout seasons. That was evident by numerous area players receiving Heartland Athletic Conference accolades this year in girls soccer as the HAC all-star team was released.
Milton’s Sammy Roarty, a senior midfielder, was named all-state and was the area’s lone all-state selection from the HAC. Central Columbia’s Joey Devlin, a junior midfielder, and Selinsgrove’s Madison Merrell, a senior forward, also were named all-state.
Hughesville coach Cody Hack earned HAC-II Coach of the Year honors this year as the Spartans had five first-team all-star selections. Hughesville’s Avery Puderbach (defender), Elizabeth Wolfe (midfield), Caradyn McGinley (midfield), Kylie Temple (forward) and Katelyn Temple (forward) were all first-team selections.
Montoursville’s Kenna Bennett was a first-team defender alongside teammate Adele Dunkleberger (Forward). Warrior Run’s Chloe Burden (goalie) was a first-team all-star and was joined by fellow Defenders Nat Hall (defender), Katie Zaktansky (midfield) and Scarlett Dunkleberger (forward).
Milton’s Addisyn Zettlemoyer (defender) joined Roarty (midfield) and Kat Bennage (forward) as first-team selections for the Black Panthers. Lewisburg’s Ava Satteson was a first-team midfielder.

Montoursville’s Abby Strassner (goalie) and Regan Aguirre (midfield) earned second-team accolades. Milton’s Sienna Short (goalie), Kiley Long (defender) and Olivia Heise (midfield) were also second-team all-star selections.
Warrior Run saw Callie Ulmer (defender), Andy Bohart (defender) and Maura Woland (midfield) earn second-team honors. Loyalsock’s Madison Perry (midfield) and Reese Temple (forward) were second-team honorees. Hughesville’s Leah Lehman received second-team accolades as a defender, as did Lewisburg’s Katherine Batkowskie (forward).
Receiving HAC-II honorable mention honors from the area were Hughesville’s Kendall Hamm and Sierra DeWire, Lewisburg’s Laurel Boyer and Claire Driver, Loyalsock’s Addie Bastian and Iyana Sewell, Milton’s MaKayla Wolfe and Hayden Snyder, Montoursville’s Khaya Bennett and Vivian Heivley, and Warrior Run’s Brooke Ryder and Ella Wertman.
Williamsport’s Jaelynn Helmrich, who became the Millionaires’ all-time assists leader this year with 42, was a HAC-I first-team all-star selection at midfield. She was joined by teammate Deborah Shultz (forward) and Adisyn Zangara (defender).
Williamsport’s Mylee Bennett was a second-team defender, Loisa Hofstrom and Emma Pool were second-team midfielders and Breah Phillips earned second-team honors at forward for the Millionaires. Jersey Shore’s Ellie Herr was a second-team midfielder and Jersey Shore’s Autumn Buttorff was a second-team defender.
