A three-run first inning helped set the tone for Tijuana, Mexico as the Mexico Region champions earned a 7-1 win against Sydney, Australia in Friday’s early game at Volunteer Stadium. Australia wasn’t able to get timely hits to put runs on the board, stranding six runners on base and scoring just one run in the fifth inning which cut the deficit to 5-1. Cowley capped an exciting comeback, hitting a walk-off single and lifted Henderson, Nevada, to dramatic 6-5 in against Ohio Friday morning at Lamade Stadium.
