Employee injured when vehicle crashes into business on the Golden Strip

A female employee at Future Nails on Eck Circle, near East Third Street and Pearson Avenue, was injured when a car plowed into the business just before 10 a.m. Saturday, according to state police.
The injured woman was taken by ambulance to UPMC Williamsport for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, according to emergency personnel.
Neither the driver nor her passenger was injured, police said.
The driver was attempting to park the rental Genesis when the crash occuured, police said.
The front of the building sustained extensive damage. The business will remain closed until the Loyalsock Township codes officer inspects the building and is assured the structure is safe, fire officials said.
