Police investigating shots fired overnight at multiple locations in Williamsport
Williamsport police are investigating a series of shots-fired incidents that occurred across the city late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.
According to the Williamsport Bureau of Police, officers were first called to the 1500 block of Memorial Avenue around 11 p.m. At the scene, investigators found several 9mm shell casings. Witnesses reported seeing multiple vehicles leaving the area shortly after the gunfire.
No injuries have been reported.
Additional calls of gunfire were reported in several other locations, including near High and Hepburn streets, Ames Place and the Memorial Bridge, the 1400 block of Bloomingrove Road, and the 900 block of Railway Street.
