The Lock Haven University volleyball team dropped a road match with Shippensburg University, 3-0, (25-19, 25-19 & 25-18) in PSAC Eastern Division action Shippensburg picked up the first two set wins by the identical 25-19 score and collected 15 and 13 kills in each. SHIPPENSBURG -- The Lock Haven University football team fell to host Shippensburg, 52-14, on Saturday. Despite the loss, quarterback Ethan Persa turned in a solid outing for the Bald Eagles (1-9, 0-7 PSAC East). He threw for 297 yards after going 21 for 38 with a touchdown and one interception against Shippensburg (8-2, 5-2 PASC East). Lycoming loses to Widener on the road in college football

Lycoming lost to Widener, 17-0, in a Middle Atlantic Conference road contest on Saturday in college football. The loss drops Lycoming to 6-3 overall and 5-2 in the MAC. Widener is now 7-2, 5-2 in the MAC. Widener held a narrow 3-0 lead at halftime. James Gillespie had a 23-yard touchdown reception from Triston Harris with 7:09 to play in the third quarter to give Widener a 10-0 lead.
