Wendy (Loudenslager) and Gary Reeder, 221 Back St., Montoursville, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 9. They were married by the Rev. Ray Schloyer at Bethel United Methodist Church, Montoursville.

Mrs. Reeder, a native of Farragut, is the daughter of the late Guy and Charlotte Loudenslager. She retired in 2018 from the former BB&T Bank, Montoursville.

Mr. Reeder, a native of Montoursville, is the son of the late David and Gladys Reeder. He retired in 2017 from Webb Communications, Williamsport and is a member of the Willing Hand Hose Co., Montoursville. He was formerly fire chief of the Eldred Township Fire Co. for many years.

They are the parents of two daughters, Jamie (Tom) George of Montoursville, and Joy (Jacob) Winter of Cogan Station, and a son, Jeremy (Kathy) of Montoursville, and the beloved grandparents of nine grandchildren.

A celebration will be held on Sunday, August 10th from 2-4 pm at the Eldred Township Volunteer Fire Company at 5556 Warrensville Road, Montoursville. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
