Linden couple celebrates 50th anniversary

Larry and Dianne Grove, of Linden, were married on October 25, 1975 at Trinity United Methodist Church. The couple began dating in 1972 after Larry returned from serving his country in the Vietnam War. In 1977, they bought their home in Linden where they still reside.

Dianne is the daughter of the late David and Loretta Scott (Williamsport) and Larry is the son of the late Daniel and Gladys Grove (Linden). The couple have 2 daughters – Nikki (husband, Stephen Russel) and Tina (husband, Justin Ulmer), as well as a granddaughter, Jayden Ulmer, and a grandson, Kason Ulmer. The couple are proud parents and even prouder grandparents, rarely missing a sporting event, concert, or academic function.

Running a successful family business together since the early 80s, they enjoyed bowling leagues with friends, camping, visiting amusement parks and historical sites with the kids, and lots of picnics and pool parties at the house. Lately, Larry loves golfing while Dianne loves her flowers and antiques, but they mostly enjoy travelling together, especially to see the grandkids’ sports.

Their long-lasting loving commitment to each other and their unwavering faith in God are an inspiration for all who know them.

Congratulations, Larry and Dianne, on 50 years of love and dedication to each other!
