Couple reaches 70-year mark

Robert “Buzz” and Mildred “Millie” Reynolds of Musser Lane, Watsontown celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary March 31st.

The couple was married March 31, 1956, at the Methodist Parsonage Alton, New York. with the Rev. Fay A. Wideman officiating.

Mrs. Reynolds was born in Lyons, New York, to the late Cecil and Mabel Champlin. She graduated from North Rose Central High School in North Rose, New York, with the class of 1952. She retired in 1999 following 32 years of secretarial service at the Warrior Run School District.

Mr. Reynolds was born in Muncy to the late Clarence and Emma Reynolds. He attended Watsontown High School and finished with a GED while serving in the United Air Force. He served four years with the Strategic Air Command (SAC) in the Air Force from 1953 to 1957.

Mr. Reynolds has owned and operated Buzz’s Pizza and Sub Shop at 38 E. Eight St. in Watsontown for 57 years. He also had a Pizza and Sub shop in Muncy from 1974 to 1979.

The couple have one son David Reynolds of Watsontown, a daughter Stefanie (Bruce Weaver) of Muncy and are predeceased by a son, Kirby Reynolds of Muncy.

They have 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

They celebrated with their family at Red Lobster in Williamsport.
